I need to stop starting projects...

I started this today, figured a Commissar needs some decorations...

Me wearing it for scale/compirison

Starting to flesh it out a bit

Quick paint job to see how it looks ...can't find my red paint or colored sharpes..

Yeah, I should say this isn't a finished pice, I just made it up while watching some DVDs.

Nice one Finn. A great idea for accesorising a commissar. Looks like fun to put together.

Did a little more with it today inbetween working on the bolt pistol. More colors more defining

I made the winged skull, I bought some winged pendent thingy at a craft store and broke them off, if you look closely you can see the jump rings for the chain.

The skull is one of the plastic one I have been using, I got a bag full of them last halloween for like $4.00, I still have a bounch and want to use them to tie my wrok toghter. I just chopped off the back and glued the whole thing down on plastic card and trimmed it.

The odd shapped back is a piece of "grundge board", I need to plug the two holes on the side and get a proper pin backing for it.

However, I'm on the hunt for cool cake bits to make uber medals!

Well, I was inspired by Toy's work on her collars and I decided I'd make some myself. Unfinished,unpainted

why call them chest board? is that a military term? i would have through medal would have been a better phrase.

the skull and xbones your using on the bottom one i've seen around before, usually passed up on them due to the more cartoony jaw, but more power to you for using it to good use.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of that skull, your right,it is cartoonish, but it's proving to be hard to find good skull charms to use for these.
