I never click on your links Shramb0 [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' />  [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

I've learned your Brony obsession is too great to ignore otherwise. . . [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' />

And maybe you should label your links properly, as some of us wear glasses, and may not catch the difference in color when a link is present. [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/dry.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='dry.gif' />

Now, was that so hard not to be a Brony for a single link? [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' />  [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

In Eisenhorn something is described, that could be the 40k version of Techno.
I wonder what that would sound like.

Maybe something like this

I dug out our GM's playlist, and it has the following:

Elend - coolest ambient music EVER, flowing, ethereal, grandiose, dark - this is how I would imagine wandering into the decadent world of the high houses, where you have to balance on the edge of the razorblade to survive

Triarii - the martial type, perfect for marching and dying (with lips pressed together of course) - ideal for combat scenes, and lemmings, I mean Imperial Guard [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' />

Nordvargr - noizy and deeply unsettling, some of their stuff, like those with Merzbow, have more of a "technical" feel to them (more noise) - the perfect music for places that have an evil foreboding to them, with lots of machines

I buy most of my "weird" music every year at WGT
A lot of cheap CDs. Steinklang has all the weird stuff.

And music "in-universe": People can still sing, but the instruments might be
interesting.

Dunno, this was the first (and only) year we were at the WGT, and the CD selection was neither great, nor that cheap.  [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/dry.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='dry.gif' />

You are right about the instruments though. Star Wars movies come to mind  [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

Just to throw this in there... I've got all of the music from Dawn of War and its expansions, and Dawn of War II and its expansions. Working on locating Kill Team music but I suspect it might be the same tracks.

In the six years I have visited the WGT, I found quite a few CDs for a good price.
Maybe that depends on your tasts in Music.
