edit: he used to post on an english-language forum somewhere, and i think i remeber seeing pictures of him taking an UNfinished cadian chestplate, that he did out of "metal" to a firing range, and the dang thing actually did a decent job stopping smaller cal. of bullets

edit2: just about ALL the armor he has done was made out of metal fyi

What I would like to know... Is if they could make some what working versions of some of those weapons. Or maybe If they have made Airsoft version out of them for their LARP

well icant find the larp forum they use now for some reason, im sure i got it bookmarked but i dont know where,
but from what i recall they were converting up some g36 airsoft guns into lasrifle mockups, with custom front shrouds

and ya, id LOVE to get a set of metal armor as well,
ive been studying some of this guys pics of his heavy weapons as well, ive got ideas, not good ideas, but ideas [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

awesome guys, they never cease to amaze me. the guy with the chaingun and red beret is called Watts, greay guy, builds almost everything they have, and builds it from metal.
the guy was medically discharged from the german defense force and gets a hefty check cut every month from the government which means alot of spending money.
hes got a great thread on the commissar.proboards IG forum.

God bless google translate. Went through the website and the more you look at the construction pics the more impressed I get. Wish I was half as good at metalwork. That armour is fantastic.

As for shrouds to convert a airsoft for a WH40K game they arent too hard to do, I did this for a friends G36

Its held on by 4 screws that go into the G36's exisiting mounting points for extra side rails and is very solid. It about doubles the weight as its made from aluminium.

You can even use the exisiting top sights through the tube. I Will be doing a more extensive version but that one will be a permanent conversion so I can get it more accurate as I dont have to worry about it going back to a stock G36 at the end.

the g36 is an adaptable little frame to work from, eh? all my projects have been based on them, other than my plasma pistol.
