I used some Halloween black feathered wings I found on sale, and ripped those apart. I used a heavy leather circle I made into a flat collar as a base and arranged the wing pieces artfully. I also used a feather boa and some extra dyed black turkey feathers to fill it out. One of the few projects where I used hot glue which is great for feathers. I put huge blue plastic stuffed animal eyes on it and turkey skulls to hang off it since it was based on the low/mid level zealot shoulder from Warhammer Online.

Wow, such great costumes! The feathers are especially good and you look very sinister in the middle picture. What are you working on at the moment?

We are finishing up the Sister of Battle & Inquisitor costumes now, but we also have other things going on with the holidays. Had to take a break and work on some of my Steampunk stuff for Steamcon. I hope we have everything done before 2010.
