Anyone wanna brainstorm with me about construction, materials, and designs for some Codex 5 Dark Eldar costumes?

Seems like the kind of suit that you could construct pretty well out of closed cell foam. Camp mats and whatnot.
Lots of spiky bits and curves. Have a model in mind?

Honestly, I think cruising some fetish sites may not be a bad idea, especially when it comes to the Wyches. Dark Eldar are some creepy folk.

No models in mind just yet. I got the PDF of the new codex and thought the new designs would be something new for people. Closed cell foam is an idea, I was not sure what were good things to use.

As for the fetish sites I run a couple and my wife and I own a company that makes chain mail armor and clothing, so I have some places to start looking.

I forget who it was, but there is a fantasy armor site that did a custom leather Dark Elf from WFB, the outfit was real close to a 40K Wyche.

Damn! If I was a girl- I would definately get that!

You may be able to modify it for a guy.

Aye, would be easily moddable. If you just bought the bracers, shoulders, and cod piece, you could modify those to fit your frame, and build the rest of the armor set off that. The shoulders would look especially nice worked into a completed male costume.. then of course for consistency of material you might have to do some work..

I believe so.  When I saw it, it was on an actual model.
