Stilts

Hi,I'm planing on making a 8 ft 10 Space marine but the only thing that is giving me trouble is the stilts, I'm 5 ft 8 and i'm my country is difficult to buy a pair, so I decided to make my own.

Thing is I can't find a detailed tutorial on how to make them.

Anybody  knows a good tutorial for stilts or where i can find it? I'm willing to reduce the height of the marine if the stilts cannot handle the proportions or something like that.

Slow around here lately, so apologies for the seeming lack of replies. One of the most easily sourced designs is from Gary Sterley (aka Sylgian here on the OC forum). Start at Page 1 of his build Here and it's one of the first topics he discusses. His use PVC pipe and some plywood to make a very stable, workable platform.

Very interesting. I was also thinking of using PVC pipes for this. Good to know that someone managed to do it successfully. I was worried they wouldn't be stable enough.
