Hello all! First at all, sorry for my rusty english...it´s not my mother tongue, as some may have realized

. Today i want to present some Wip-Pics and a walkthrough of my first Space Marine building. Enjoy

Step 1: The Helmet
I made the helmet out of Pepakura, then used epoxy directly on the paper. After drying process i added 2 layers of fibre glass matts and again epoxy over it.
Then filler, primer, Plastidip and matte black. Faceshield is made of foam, lenses made out of old sunglasses.

I also added a voicescrambler, a small speaker and a small vent to the helmet, all powered by integrated battery packs.

Step 2: The Breastplate
The breastplate is reinforced with aluminum pipes. Shouldermounts made of funiture-rolls. The shoulder-section of the breastplate is also reinforced with 2mm aluminum sheets.

St3p 3: The diaper
The diaper is reinforced with 2mm aluminum sheet between the legs (saves also the coconuts

). Strapping is made with 5cm straps and glued to the foam with hot glue. Works perfect.

Step 4: The Legs
The connectors of the legs are selfmade with 2mm aluminum sheets. Piping between tigh and lower leg was made of aluminum flexi-pipes.
Connectors between tigh and diaper was made with 2cm-straps and this click-shutters.

Step 5: The Shoulders
Shoulders are reinforced with plywood. Filler, propshield, plastidip.

Step 6: The Backpack
Backpack skulls are resin, the eyes are red glass nuggets. It has an integrated vent with battery pack for cool down the wearers body.

Step 7: The Boots
As i dislike to use stilts i made some kinda step-in-system made of wood. The sole of the SM-boot is plywood, then on the outside 2 layers of foam (1cm), inside 1 layer of foam (1cm) and the step-in sytem, that is screwd down to the main sole.

Step 8: The Badass
