Tested the tabard, it's a faux velvet acrylic cloth that I pounded on with a ball peen hammer to age, almost done, just needs a few (or dozens of) more holes in it.   The filigree is gold puffy fabric paint.  Then I whipped up a hand grenade, it's a Perrier can (just slightly smaller than a standard soda can), covered in two layers of 3mm foam and dry brushed in gold Testors model paint and I threw some cheap craft gems on it.

Working on the stained glass for the front side of the cathedral arch on top of the power pack. Drew it on paper, traced it onto velum, colored it with watercolor pens, then taped it inside the arch and lit it with battery powered LEDs.

Got the Chaplain's 'Book of Litanies' done and the left hip Icon.  The book is just a Hobby Lobby fake storage book for the base, the cover is 3D printed and the lock and bindings are EVA foam and craft store doo dads.  The Icon is EV foam with plastic Halloween skulls and the whole thing is attached to an old belt.

Details are top notch! Really impressed with your work. How's the overall weight and how is movement tho?

Weight is not too bad, it's all EVA foam with 5/8 PVC pipe supports.  I've only tested walking in it with the the power pack off, but so far so good.

Looking really great, how warm is it inside with the helmet on? That is my primary issue with my suit.

You're build is easily the most impressive I've seen, excellent job!

Not too bad, I have one of those joggers personal fans built into the back of the helmet.

Very awesome build. And your mobility is also commendable. I had thought that all that detail would compromise the weight but your walk video shows that isn't the case. \m/

I put down a basecoat of metallic gold spray can paint.   Then I hit the sunken nooks and crannies with some watered down black metallic craft paint using a small brush to really get into the tight spots, wipe off any excess before it dries, then I hit the whole thing with a combo of Black and Brown liquid shoe polish (with the foam applicator bottle.)  Then go I back and highlight the edges and rivet tops with metallic gold Testors model paint using dry brush technique.
