First of all, excuse me if my language is weird... I'm from Switzerland

So, for my next LARP game, wich is played in the 40k universe, I decided to play a Techpriest. Not a simple Techpriest as well, a Secutor ; one of those crazy guies that transform themselves in a warmachine for the good cause. I worked on it from the beginning of the year, and here is the result :

The Heavy Bolter is made from a Nerf Stampede, here you can find a tutorial (in French...but pictures are quite explicites) : http://www.trollcalibur.com/node/7765

The sword is made as a LARP one ; fiberglass rod, plastazote foam, 8 layers of liquid latex and acryl paint. You can find other pictures in my DeviantArt Gallery.

The chest armor is a football chest from wich I removed all the foam, and I added a half paint can (and a lot of vacuum cleaner tubing and other scraps). Backpack is an old one from Swiss Army, I added an old copper bottle, and a servo arm made with aluminium U-shape rods. It comes with a voice changer, and I added this little funny gadget :

Legs come from hockey protectors.

I saw it on devArt today and love it, though the plastic bottles made me chuckle

Yeah, the plastic bottles are here because I must play as a waiter for the begenning of the game... a badly programmed waiter, who serves oil and cooling liquid instead of cocktails. It's not on the pictures, but for that I will wear an apron, add a towel on the bolter to "hide" it, and a rusted tray with tin glasses on it... and a power palette knife
