Death Korps of Krieg Sniper

just thought i would show my Death Korps of Krieg cosplay (tried to be a sniper). i was at Connecticon '10 this year with it, i thought it went over pretty well. most of the equitment is WWII german stuff, Russian gas mask, nerflong shot

-any suggestions for inprovements?
- i had a hard time with the shoulder pads, ran out of time and ideas of what to use

Needs full armour, low boots, and puttees.  Apart from that it's very very good, it just screams "Death Korps" to anyone familiar with 40k.

The work you did on the mask is cool, what is that, juts a cardboar cut out?

Also very good helmet where did you get the base for it?

Well, this is my first post, so hey all! Im new to cosplay and costuming, but im a longtime 40k enthusiasts.

That being said, I think your Death Trooper looks awesome! My one nitpick are your catchers leg guards. I understand what your going for, but based on the minis and even some of the art, I think you would be better served with some combat boots with some cloth ankle wraps or even just some tan boots. They just stand out because their the only armor your wearing and the padded look draws the eye to them. Other than that though it looks great! I love the gas mask and the long shot makes a great las rifle. Keep it up!
