Hello guys! I just wanted to show you my eldar farseer. I worn it at GamesDay UK 2012 and I based it on the Dawn of War II character Idranel. It was really fun to make it and it was about my second sewn project ever! So, very proud of it

Very nice.  A question and a comment:

1)  What did you make the blade out of?  It looks like multiple layers of acrylic.
2)  If you coat your ear tips in 100% castor oil, let it set for a day, wipe off the excess and then powder them with a translucent powder, it will seal them so you can use your normal makeup on them to blend with your skin better.

Thank you for the ear tip! I did try to use make up on them but it wouldn't cover them at all!

The blade is made of something called acetate? (acetato in Spanish) It is the same stuff you have in plastic folders and they sell them (in Spain) at stationary shops. It is very soft and bends easily but it works fine as long as it isn't windy...may not be the best option but it is probably the cheapest and easier to work with
