I have a Halo Marine and the jacket to a Zeon MS pilot cosplay but that is it for other stuff.

@Jet_Texas: Were you by any chance at All-Con 2010 as a Commissar and Jet Black?

While it's not exactly a costume, I do several Soviet impressions for airsoft. None are completely finished but it's mostly the boots. I have an Afghan war uniform and a Naval Infantry loadout from the 90s (kind of like Marines but not really).

Thanks for the kind words guys =D I'll let you know if I won =P

I'm still blown away by Komm's new vegas suit - that helmet deserves a major high five.
He made it out of pep and was all "meh, paper, screw paper", and then he made it out of plastic instead.
@ Vrogy! love the hammer, how'd you do that!? edit: wait i think ive spoken with you before, don't you use a CNC machine?

@Djinn, you damn well should win!
howd you do the wood grain? is that real wood or painted?

and thanks for the high praise for the fallout armor, i like your description of my thought process.. its kind of close to what i was thinking haha

The hammer looks like the awesome resin kit of it they sell over on the 405th sometimes.

Also its real wood, I cut/carved the handle out of a 4x4 haha. After I stained the wood it came out looking real nice.

Does this count?  One of my Halloween costumes this last year, totally forgot to post it.  There's a better picture from the waist up but it's got a bunch of other people in it and I'm at work, I'll censor it later and post it up.  The other costume was a mad scientist - there aren't any pictures but that's no big loss, it was pretty basic.

Yeah, we have. I think I was discouraging you from the use of CNC or somesuch.
Hammer is by some 405th guy, photo was more for size reference than to record my costume. I like your GIFification of your costume, I need to get my suits back on and do that sometime.

Hell, we could use some standard poses like these as sprites and make a COSPLAY SHOWDOWN arcade game. There's got to be an easily-moddable, open-source version of street fighter/mortal kombat out there by now.

It's called MUGEN, but the 'easy' part is relative [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' />

My LARP costume. There's a cute jacket and giant cloak that go along with it, but it was not cold enough for this event to wear them.

Love that skirt material... they way it fades between black and red.
In the embrace of the great Nurgle, I am no longer afraid, for with His pestilential favour I have become that which I once most feared: Death.

I approve of the pirate wench appearance, but maybe that's just the pirate in me.

Everything is better with pirates... it's a universal law, just like gravity [img]http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />
