Calas Typhon Foam Build

Hello. As a side-project to my veteran armour, I will slowly be working on a foam build of Calas Typhon's armour (Typhus' Horus heresy-era armour).



My only problem is that I can't find any valid links for Terminator pepakura files or foam template files. I've tried using the search bar and the master pepakura file lists, but the only links that I could find were invalid or removed. If any of you have download links, please let me know. Thank you.

You got a point there though. Dono if I've seen any terminator pep files either. Check the Call of Chaos thread. I believe he's doing a chaos terminator

I've just been editing the files for a foam build. Now  to buy the foam. I was considering anti-fatigue EVA foam. Does anyone have aany better alternatives?

Nope, that's pretty much what I use. I get mine from Harbor Freight and with a good coupon can get 7 to 9 sets of four mats for $6.99 each. Dunno if you have a HFT near you, but if you do, abuse it.

Theres a couple of reasonable options for those of us who are IK based.

I've bought from Ebay, general going rate is about 15 quid for eight tiles delivered, though they do turn up cheaper now and then.  I generally buy when I see them for a cheaper price.  The mats are in the region of 14mm thick, and measure 60x60cm and are EVA foam

I've bought from them, good service and delivery.  I bought 6mm ED45, which is comparable to the EVA floor mats, possible a little softer but cuts well.

What Thickness are you using for the Leg's/Chest Jon?

I've also just realised, I converted the shoulder files to foam when I need to scratch build those. Well, that was a waste of 20 minutes.

Its the thicker mats, round about 14mm.

I'm going to have to wait a month or so before I can get the foam matting, for I don't have any money at the moment. I'm looking into getting a job relatively soon so I can pay for all of this.

This is my progress on removing the other parts of the 3D model so far. I'm aiming to just have the torso.
