That's why I said so long as you are not drinking from it. The salt water is purely for suit cooling

I am the Arch-fiend, the Despoiler of Worlds, and by my hands shall the false Emperor fall.

I was half expecting that the second line would end with "ill send you one, slightly used."

A thing I had considered for my Stormtrooper armor if I ever went Sandtrooper with a pack was to get used to the added weight of a cool suit system. with a coolsuit you would be circulating cold water through a shirt and pants like a race car driver does. Thing is that is a lot of added weight in the form of a pump, cooler in the pack and water with maybe dry ice in the cooler. I had always sufficed at Dragon Con and other Hot cons with being in shape, hydrating properly and the Fans to keep air movement in the helmet. Well just a thought for those looking at a way to cool down the body while in armor.

There's a reason the U.S. military trains in body armor. I had to essentially live in mine for a month in California for training one summer. The following spring, I was in Iraq and glad for the training. It kept me from having problems when I went from 65 degrees to 110 degrees. We still had to wear our gear nearly continuously. Mine clocked in around 50 lbs. with ammo, plates, and water.

The fans are a good idea. Try sourcing one for paintball as they blow air directly on the lens. There is a company that uses a pc fan and a hose to remote mount the fan and better direct the air. Be aware that this may cause problems for those who wear contacts, prescription or costume.
