That spider stirred memories in me, the Haarlock storyline was one of the most moving in my 15 years of role-playing, and trust me, I had some. I still hate and pity the man.

Yep, one of the best plots and anti-heroes/anti-villain in RPGs. It is also a campaign that involves whole meta-plot of Dark Heresy, telling it masterfully with vague hints until "truth" comes crashing like a ton of bricks... It was also a campaign that required from me as a GM to explore new ways of GMing, new ways of player interaction etc.
Even if half of people that played campaign did not even play Dark Heresy before, with some having only faintest clues about 40k, they are real fans now. It was also a campaign that inspired me to try making costumes for a first time.

Today work.
"Poison bottle" for Rogue Trader - old perfume bottle, with paint inside, with some Dark Eldar iconography.
4 x =I= symbols, 3 for necklace (with attachment rings) , one for a hat - made from 0.8mm brass sheet, sculls are from some old belt. Gems are from cheep jewelry.
Hair pin - craft store wings (minus hearth that was between), flower-like part of broken ring, plasticard.
Part of psyker's necklace - there will be feathers hanging and more imperial iconography there.
Also not on pic is hand grenade but that one is practically same as previous one on SoB.

We are reviving this one...
So, our assassin wants second needle pistol... Similar but not same as old one.
So, old one:

Laspistol WiP, needs some more paint, but grips are finished - first time use of wood stain and linseed oil for finishing produced interesting results, even if wood used was a crap.

Work that started me on prop making. Dueling las and derringer:

Thanks.
Teaser about second Sister of Battle costume overhaul.
All cast in dental plaster (I have only single mould for each, so 24h for resin is too much) then impregnated by super glue.
Small Fleur de Lys taken from old French parade uniform.
Large skulls are from GW terrain (with cut-off horns)
Small skulls are from 40k objective markers.
Large fleur de lys was sculpted by a friend, it was used on previous SoB costume, on backpack.
