There will be another one, symbol of Order of the Ebon Chalice on the left side of the bolter, under the charging handle. That will be a final decoration. My only doubt is should I make it from plasticard and paint it black/flames or make it as a single piece from brass sheet? I am leaning toward brass ATM as I am not sure if black will be enough contrast to dark blue/black of bolter body...

Well, despite almost total lack of free time bolter is finished (pics soon) and I finally found a time to work on other weapons... Needle pistol more WiP:

Quick pic of chainsword made as an award for local Warhammer 40k tournament. It needs minor finishing still. Since it is a friend who won tournament, it will be loaned for a big photoshot coming soon. :)

And the bolter is finished...
In the end I ditched some ideas (golden decorative script script on body, purity seals etc) but this is probably most complex weapon I have made so far. OTOH, unlike some others (revolvers), it was easy and straight-forward process for the most parts. It took me about 80 hours of total work time to finish it, w/o any major hickups.

Moveable selector switch:

Flamer attachment:

Symbol of the order of the Ebon Chalice:

Battle scene, symbolizing player banishing the King in Rags and Tatters in RPG campaign:

Mag decoration. I have painted mag flat black with weathering, as it would be more-less generic mass issue item, unlike bolter which was custom made.

Mag bottom decoration:

Grip bottom decoration:

Next is a fixed fleur-de-lys mace and Rogue Trader's costume parts.

Had quite some time to work on costumes, so a lot of work done :)
Needle pistol was 90% painted. It lacks final blue graze, few details and varnish only:

Old rogue trader's dueling laspistol was reworked and repainted to very dark, almost black purple. Still lacks gem on that spider...

Old guardsman's autopistol also got selector markings, name "Nomine Imperator" and a sling. Grip/magazine was wrapped in the tape to make it non-slippery:

Decent pics of compass thing, epaulettes and rogue trader's medal:

More work finished... :)
Needle Pistol:

Rogue Trader's necklace. 13 jewels on the medalion as a connection to Haarlock rogue trader's family.

=I= pendant is ~20x30mm

Servo skull paperweight:

There is an upgrade of necklace, but it needs photos with good camera, and I only had phone one while working on it...
OK, enough with fancy things, now it is time for brutal ones - she is Rogue Trader after all...
So, with that in mind, I present you trench knife style dagger. It was based on US M1918 trench knife:

and as a bonus similar style knife used on GW/FFG artwork representing Scintilan Fusiliers:

Scabard is still missing few screws/rivets decoration, and knife needs to be painted...

More work on Rogue Trader's costume... Knife is fully painted, but pics will have to wait.

Skulls, you need lot of skulls :D

Aquilla belt buckle cover, we decided on simple snap-fit military style belt, as it is mostly covered by other things...

Loops for a belt, knife, grenade, scroll case and =I= symbol. Also pistol holster will be mounted on a belt.

Quick and easy ring:

Grenade from a small soda can:

Leather garters, they need decorations (skulls and aquillas, what else?):

Two bullet belt loops, for her derringer. Bullets are made from pen parts, and only undercoated ATM. This will go either on one of garters or on a convenient place on corset.

Boot decoration:

This was first time I worked with leather and I found it is actually super easy. I used unpainted leather recycled from an old bag, painted it with water resistant ink, softened it with linseed oil a bit and varnished it with clear varnish.

A big update, work is almost finished... :)
Fabulous feather :) Will go on the hat

Repaired hat docoration:

Boots side wing decoration, look way better with boots on a friend :D

Front of boot decoration:

From a side. As can be seen, boots need some repairs that will be done before con...

"Tactical" west :) Leather belts were still wet when I took a photo...

Mask. Pearl and lucky bullet (empty .25 ACP casing with fake tip) as a decorations:

Rogue rraders need their amasek... Bullet casing stopper (7.62x25mm) works quite well, we actually plan having a brandy in a bottle... :)

Necklace with all the decorations that will be mounted on it:
