Velcro in the boot covers (to your real boots) might be a workable idea for safer walking.

I was going to put a permanent pair of shoes in there (I have a couple pairs that I don't mind sacrificing to this).  Still not sure what I'm going to build my lifts from yet though.

Well no real update per say, but I figured out what to do with my old patterns and the first legs I made (all of which in case you missed were WAY too small)  They are apparently perfectly child sized so my nephew is gonna have to best halloween costume in school this year.  We started tonight at my brother's place.

He really likes that nerf mace so we might paint it a bit to use it for the outfit.

Thunder Mace! If ever there was a weapon for purging heresy, that would be it! Glad to see that first attempt isn't going to waste!

Beware the x-acto blade, the glue burn, the paint fume.

Just to prove I haven't been completely idle.

It's getting close to done, and it's giving me good experience so I don't screw mine up as much.

Okay after a long break with no progress I finally got my ass out of the chair and did a little work.  Not much but got detail added to the shins.

So I finally made actual progress.  I got my shoulders built and got my knee joints rigged up.  Picture time!

Making the knee pieces

Here they are being put in

Marking out the pieces for the shoulders

More shoulder stuff

And here's how they were put together

Here's the skulls that will be put all  along the top

Finally here's what they look like propped in place

Tomorrow I hope to get my lifts made so I can try walking in them.  I also want to get the psychic hood glued in place.

Another day of work, another bunch of pics.

Got the lifts measured and installed

Got the shoulders mounted

Finally got to put all those pieces on and see how it feels

I did a test walk too but the video isn't done uploading yet so I'll post it later.

Started work on the purity seals while waiting for plasti-dip and paint to dry.

Started off with my friend and I each making a seal out of clay the I made a mold out of silicone

The I used two part plastic and poured a new one!

Here's a pic of both seals we made

Mass production has begun
