I also like your little details. Hopefully you're planning on throwing some gold on there to 'bling' it up a bit?

Have you finished your armour? Can we see? PLEASE????
Treat us with honour, Brothers. Not because we will bring you victory this day, but because our fate will one day be yours...

HI!  I've just got back from Tokyo!!  Had a wicked good time but I'm glad to be home and I'm just about ready to put up some pics of my finished build but first a quick update on a fan mod I did to my backpack to try and get the suit a bit cooler with some airflow inside.

I first cut some holes inside the lower back pack vents with a 40mm hole-saw to allow air to freely enter the pack and be propelled via fan to the inside of my chest armour.

For the fan I used one of these:

Seems to work pretty well!

I would now like to announce my new thread in the "Costume Gallery".  It's been along time coming, but anyways here it is.

This year I was supposed to be renovating my house... instead I built a full scale suit of Space Marine power armour.  Try explaining THAT to the missus every day for 7 months!!  I was very distracted!  But I am very happy and proud of the results and glad I chose to embark on this epic journey, I see it as a great achievement.  To everyone still building their own suits of power armour, keep at it!!  Don't give up!!  Nothing worthwhile is ever easy and when your suit is done you'll be able to stand back, have a beer and say, holy shit this thing is wicked.  It's a great feeling.

So without further ado, click this:
