For your Fleur de lis sculpts you might try one of these...

Fleur de Lis Cookie Stamp. I have not used this or seen it in RL, but looks great for making seals, it's 2" in diameter which is about perfect.

I have this mold which I have used to make some good castings in clay and then baked. I also mae the Fleur on the back on the backpack with it out of Apoxy sculpt

OH man! That Fondant Mold Set looks fantastic- I wish I'd had it a month ago

I made these by pressing a metal key ring into clay and making a crude mould

I was super lucky in that my friend modelled for a body painting company and they had used two fluer der lis prosthetics to cover her breasts - and asked if I wanted them (hells yeah!)

Here you can see them on the model's upper arms:

I'm gutted they don't sell them anymore!  They are foam latex and specificity curved to go on a bosom. If I hadn't spent so long on the skulls on my breastplate I would use them in a heart beat.

Wow, those are awesome!
You need to make a second BP, infact I found this place which sells some vacum formed chest plates, shin and arm gards...

The prices for the "unfinished parts" are at the bottom.

I think the chest could be used to make a more "armored" torso then just using a corset. The shin gaurds look like they could be a good base for sister armor...

And they in turn remind me of Zooey Deschandel (sp?) or maybe (big maybe) Katy Perry.

But apparently much shorter if that one Commissar pic is anything to go by. But hey, maybe she was standing next to a really tall elf?

@ Spunky: A little of column A, a little Column B - I'm short and she's tall!

That's an absolutely beautiful dress. Great work on keeping it 40K and simple at the same time, which is no easy task!

From what I read in the book (er...pirated PDF) there was nothing on Vail's dress to immediately point her out as being part of the Ordos Xenos. Of course, without the classic 40k and Inquisition iconography there's really no way to tell who you're going for unless the people at whatever even had read the Ciaphas Cain books.

Don't mind me though. I'm new to all this and fairly ignorant. Especially when it comes to making clothing. Some props I can do. Sewing and such....heh. No chance in hell.

Woah this is a great ... ?build?  do we call it a build?
Excellent work.  I think you nailed the 40k look, despite it not being armor.
