Hi all,
  I'm not sure this is the right place but I was wondering if anybody can help me, I'm trying to find or find a way of getting the 3d objects out of dawn of war and dawn of war 2 so I can unfold them for pep-ing. I hear people saying they started with the game files and was hoping theres a database of the objects somewhere? i have somwhere obj files for a tech marine and apothecary which are very low poly but useable but id like to have ago at more. Ive peped a few masks for airsofting using base models that ive modified for personal use with much success. I'm trying to get better at creating files to make costumes using metasequoia but I'm struggling. Not sure if its me or if I'm using too complicated a program or both lol. Anyway, any advice would be much appreciated!

I forget the steps but look for instructions on modding those games.  The first step of modding is pulling the 3d images out of the game.

As I'm only intending on converting the models to pep can I just extract the meshes as I won't be needing the skins?

Not sure, as I have not done the unfolding side of pepakura. That said, I'd recommend downloading the Firestorm Over Kronus Mod as your object pool, as it's models are waaaay more detailed than the vanilla DOW.
