A friend at work mentioned he had a 3d printer running and was looking for test peices.

He's seen me working on my pep helmets and armor at work, and wants to test his hollow printing with a helmet.

Does anyone have their original 3d files for any space marine helmet BEFORE it was imported into Pepakura?

If this works I can knock out helmets in 10 hours for about $10 in material costs.

if the printer is big enough....

helmets would need a replicator of about 16" cubed...

They're capable of printing 24" cubed. Helmets should be good.

Check out wookiegunner's thread called "A Bunch of Space Marine Files." They're all in .3ds format.

That is a big 3D printer. I can't wait to see how a helmet turns out.
